2008 November > SuperWalk for Parkinson's Canada’s SuperWalk for Parkinson’s is the largest national fundraising event for Parkinson Society Canada (PSC). Over 80 communities across Canada participate in this extraordinary event in the month of September. More than 12,000 walkers and volunteers from coast-to-coast organize and take part in SuperWalk to raise money to help ease the burden for the over 100,000 Canadians living with Parkinson's. Raising approximately $3,000 in the first -ever Ajax version of this event some year's ago the walk has grown considerably with last years walk raising approximately $50,000 and organizers hoping to exceed that amount this year.
