2008 November > Hilarious Short Story Contest Winners Presentation
"I never laughed so hard as the time when..." was the opening line used in the Hilarious Short Story Contest and on September 22nd, the winners gathered at Ajax's Town Hall to receive their awards from Mayor Steve Parish and the Town of Ajax. Awards were given out in three age categories and winning best in contest was Pickering's William Hunt, age 9, for "Doggie Delight." The story follows a canine around that always finds him getting in some type of mischief.
