2008 November > Pizza Pizza's Cheese for Charity

October 1st marked the official start of National Pizza Month and Pizza Pizza celebrated by looking back at the history of pizza, offering trivia, and joining forces with Children's Miracle Network to raise money to help children. On October 21st, one of Ontario's and Quebec's biggest efforts to raise money was launched, Pizza Pizza offered a Cheese for Charity Day Fundraiser which also contributed to their Pizza Pizza's Slices for Smiles program. A donation from each five dollar cheese or pepperoni medium pizza or each single slice was donated to Children's Miracle Network for children's education, health and other social programs. Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals., providing medical care, life-saving research and preventive education.
