2008 November > Official Ground Breaking Ceremonies Board officials and members of the community gathered for the official groud breaking of two new Ajax Public Schools. The group began at
the New Unnamed Meadows Public School located on Telford Drive (north of Rossland). This two storey school will be 58,816 square feet, will hold five hundred and thrity five students and contain twenty-six classrooms. Moving on from Telford Drive, the group continued to the new Unnamed Hamlet Public School located at the corner of Warner Drive and Williamson. The Unnamed Hamlet Public School will also be a two storey school with 60,172 square feet, will hold twenty-seven classrooms and will house two-hundred and fifty-eight students. Both schools are set to open their doors Septmber 2009.
