2008 November > Presidents Night for the Optimist Club of Ajax It was an exciting night at Carruthers Creek Golf Course on October 3rd for the Optimist Club of Ajax. They held their Presidents Night, a celebration of their past term with outgoing president Doug Butson and welcoming of the new president, Scott McAthey. New board members were also inducted including, Cathy Cope, Linda Colgan, Godfrey D'Souza and Roy Pettitt. The Optimist Club of Ajax is one of the largest community service organizations and
strives to improve the community by working with youths and their supporting organizations such as activity providers for the Ajax Beavers, Cubs and Boy Scouts, founder and co-builders of Kids' Safety Village of Durham and Youth Appreciation Week. To learn more log onto http://ajaxoptimist.com.
