2008 November > Ribfest at The Black Dog

The Black Dog hosted a terrifically successful Ribfest over the course of a weekend in early October. In addition to featuring their own mouth-watering Bourbon, Guinness and Spiced-Rum glazed ribs throughout the weekend The Dog hosted a Rib-Off Challenge for patrons on Sunday afternoon. Congratulations to Richard who edged out Lisa and Bill for the BBQ grand prize in a blind judging that scored entrants on their home- made rib sauce flavours and the overall tenderness of their ribs. A further hats off to the top three participants who we understand all donated their prizes to worthy causes!
