2008 November > THE ROGERS PUMPKIN PATROL KICK-OFF The Durham Regional Police Service and Rogers Cable kicked off their annual safety campaign to keep the streets safe for children this Halloween at Duffin's Bay Public School in Ajax. With all the excitement on Halloween night, safety isn't always the first thing kids think about when they are trick-or-treating, but for adults safety is always a concern. Parents in the Durham Region will have the comfort of knowing that Police Officers will be out in force along with the bright red vans of Rogers Cable patrolling the streets on October 31st. The Kick-Off Event was hosted by Duffin's Bay Public School and featured a guest appearance by Police Chief Mike Ewles, who joined James Myles and Tina Murphy of Rogers.
