Kinsmen Charity Bear Hunt
The Kinsmen Club of Ajax will be giving away $2,000 to charity in the month of February through an engaging Charity Teddy Bear Hunt. Starting February 4th and continuing on even-numbered days through February 22nd, one special teddy bear will be placed hiding in plain sight somewhere in Ajax. Each of the ten bears will have a contact number written in the back of it’s shirt. The finder of a bear is asked to take the bear home and call the contact number. Kinsmen will then direct $200 for each bear discovered to the charity of the finder’s choice. The bear hunt is designed to increase awareness of the Kinsmen Club and, more importantly, affords Ajacians the opportunity to become directly engaged in the decision making process of how funding can best serve our community.
All of the money Kinsmen raise supports Ajax citizens. Either directly, such as minor sport and festival sponsorships, or indirectly, such as Cystic Fibrosis or Cancer research, all their efforts are designed to support our community’s greatest needs.
