Valentines Sweetheart Dance
There was love in the air last month at Ballycliffe Retirement Lodge at 70 Station Street in Ajax. Residents were treated to a special Valentine Sweetheart Dance with Toronto Seniors entertainer Marie Gogo. Gogo's repertoire consists of a variety of popular and jazz standards, show tunes, sing-a-long songs and novelty numbers such as songs that were sung by Marlene Dietrich, Mae West, Gracie Fields and Fats Waller. Sometimes she throws in a dance or a tune on the ukulele or the musical saw! Shows are specifically tailored for seniors. Refreshments and treats were served and all in all the night was a great success.
