Durham Girl Guides Cheer On The Oshawa Generals

Over 200 Girl Guides, Pathfinders, Brownies and Sparks enjoyed a night at the GM Motors Centre hockey arena in Oshawa last month. The girls almost filled up an entire section of the arena as they cheered on the Oshawa Generals who were playing the visiting Belleville Bulls. Girl Guides of Canada-Guides du Canada offers girls an accepting environment to participate in programs and activities; provides an opportunity to discover new interests, learn valuable leadership skills and make lasting friendships. They offer girls the tools and resources to achieve their potential and offer women a chance to be part of the community and help girls to develop their potential, supports personal growth, mentoring and travel opportunities.
