Annual tournament to benefit Durham College and UOIT students and Abilities Centre. The tournament took place at Deer Creek in Ajax, where 140 golfers were treated to a great day of golf, food, prizes and good company. This event, hosted by Roger Anderson, the Durham Regional Chair, raises over $350,000 annually and will directly benefit students in financial need at Durham College and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and assist with the creation of the region’s Abilities Centre. It is regarded as one of the most successful fundraising golf tournaments in the entire GTA having raised over 3.5 million dollars to date.
